Texans' Hopkins: QB Savage Should Start

Tom Savage

Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins isn't keeping any secrets on who he  thinks should be the team's starting quarterback.  Hopkins told ESPN on  Friday he believes Tom Savage should win the job.  Savage is currently  battling rookie DeShaun Watson, who led Clemson to a national title in  January and was the 12th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.  Savage  was a fourth-round pick in 2014 and threw for 461 yards with no  touchdowns or interception in three games for Houston last season.   Savage has taken all of the first-team snaps in training camp, though  Watson has earned praise from head coach Bill O'Brien.
