AUSTIN - The International Arena Football League has launched in Austin with many of the Owners, Coaches and Players on hand to witness the event. The newly formed league will feature football teams from both Texas and Mexico including the Austin Wild, Temple Demons, San Antonio Knights, Tamulipas Lagartos, Dallas Trojans, Mexico City Mexicahs and the Rio Grande Valley Dorados. The Austin franchise will play in the Expo Center in eastern Travis County.
