Texas basketball did not make the big dance and will play in the NIT tournament. In coach Shaka Smart's four years this is the second time the team has missed NCAA tournament. Now, Texas will host South Dakota State on Tuesday at the Erwin Center and try to run the table in their first NIT appearance since the 1985-1986 season.
