The Titans have hired Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel ast heir head coach. The team announced the hiring on its website, saying it will hold a press conference Monday to introduce Vrabel. One of three candidates to interview for the position left vacant after Tennessee parted ways with Mike Mularkey, Vrabel played 14seasons in the NFL and won three Super Bowls with the Patriots. He spent one season as Houston's defensive coordinator after three as the team's linebackers coach. Tennessee also interviewed Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks and Rams offensive coordinatorMatt LaFleur.
