Astros Extend Pressly's Contract

League Championship Series - Boston Red Sox v Houston Astros - Game Three

The Astros have extended reliever Ryan Pressly's contract for two years through the 2021 season. Pressly, who would have been eligible for free agency after this season, will make eight million and seven-hundred fifty thousand dollars in each 2020 and 21. There is a vesting option for 10 million dollars in 2022. He logged a 0.77 ERA in 26 games with the Astros last season after they acquired him in a July trade with the Twins.
