Man In Court Facing Marijuana Charge Sparks A Joint In Front Of Judge

A courtroom in Tennessee was left stunned when a suspect lit up a joint while appearing before a judge. 20-year-old Spencer Boston was in court facing a marijuana possession charge and pulled the joint out of his pocket as he approached the judge.

Nobody in the court seemed to notice as Boston lit a match and sparked up the marijuana cigarette. Once he did, a court officer rushed over and placed him in handcuffs. Boston started yelling about his belief that Tennessee should legalize marijuana as he was led out of the courtroom.

“One of the craziest things I’ve seen,” Wilson County Sheriff Robert Bryan told WTVF-TV.

Boston was charged with disorderly conduct and simple possession of drugs, and sentenced to ten days in jail for contempt of court.
