Kyle Gibson struck out nine in a complete-game, four-hitter as the Rangers shut out the Astros 1-0 in Houston. He gave up a two-out double in the ninth to Alex Bregman, but got the final out on Kyle Tucker's line drive to first. Joey Gallo's ground rule double in the top of the ninth plated the game's only run. Ryan Pressley took the loss in relief of Houston starter Lance McCullers Jr.
