Spurs Top Nuggets, Denver Loses Top Spot In West

DeMar DeRozen scored 30 points to lead the Spurs past the Nuggets 111-103 in San Antonio. LeMarcus Aldridge added 27  and Bryn Forbes pitched in with 15 points for the Spurs.   San Antonio is 8-and-2 in its last 10 games to improve to 19-and-16  overall, including 14-and-5 at home. Juan Hernangomez went for 27  points and 13 rebounds in the loss.  Malik Beasley scored 22 off the bench for Denver, which dropped its second straight to dip to  21-and-11.  The Nuggets are now a half-game behind Golden State for the  lead in the West.
