Zebra mussels invade Canyon Lake

Texas Parks and Wildlife has confirmed a major infestation of Canyon Lake and possibly the Guadalupe River Basin downstream of Canyon Dam. Since the first discovery in 2009 at Lake Texoma, The number of Lakes infected in Texas is now up to 10. other nearby lakes infected include Belton and Stillhouse hollow in Bell County, While DNA has been found in Georgetown and Buchanan no conclusive evidence has been confirmed.
