Rangers Outlast Red Sox In 11 Innings

Elvis Andrus singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning as the Rangers outlasted the Red Sox 4-3 at Fenway Park. Nomar Mazara's two-run single in the ninth put Texas ahead 3-2 before Brock Holt tied it for Boston with an RBI single in the bottom half. Danny Santana went 4-for-5 with an RBI for Texas, which has won 10 of its last 14 games. Jesse Chavez got the win and Chris Martin his second save. Ryan Brasier took the loss for the Sox, who have dropped four-of-five. Andrew Benintendi homered for Boston. Starter Chris Sale allowed one unearned run in seven innings.
