Cowboys Keep Grinding Without Elliott

Dallas Cowboys

While the Cowboys held their final open practice in Frisco, running back Ezekiel Elliott is working out with Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Elliott remains a holdout in a contract dispute. Rookie Tony Pollard and veteran Alfred Morris would likely get the bulk of the carries if Elliott remains absent. Head coach Jason Garrett said, "you focus on the guys who are here" after the practice. The Cowboys will be home tomorrow night to meet Tampa Bay in their preseason finale at AT&T Stadium. They will open the regular season on September 8th against the Giants.
