Rockets Drop Sixth Straight

The Rockets struggled to stop the Trail Blazers as they fell 140-129 in Portland. Houston could not stop the hot-shooting Blazers as Portland scored 50 points in the first quarter and tied an NBA record for three-pointers made in a quarter with 12. Kelly Olynyk had 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the league-worst Rockets, while D.J. Augustin added 21 points. Houston has now dropped six consecutive games and will close out its four-game road trip Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
