The NFL is set to vote on whether or not to approve Cal McNair as the new principal owner of the Texans this week. The NFL owners are expected to vote tomorrow morning on the issue. Janice McNair has been the franchise's principal owner since Houston's former owner, Bob McNair, died in November 2018. Since his father's death, Cal has taken over daily football procedures and has represented the team at owner's meetings in place of Janice.
