San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is one of three finalists for both the NBA Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Wemby is the first player in the history of the league to be a finalist for both awards. The league announced the finalists on Sunday. The other rookie finalists are Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Chet Holmgren. The other Defensive Player finalists are Miami Heat center/forward Bam Adebayo and Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.
