Rangers Defeat Giants

The Rangers avoided a sweep at home. Texas defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-2 in the finale of a three-game set at Globe Life Field. Marcus Semien was 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored. Ezequiel Duran and Wyatt Langford each drove-in a pair of runs. Starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi improved to 3-and-2 after striking out five batters and allowing two runs through seven innings. The Rangers snapped a two-game losing streak and sit second in the AL West at 31-and-34. They will travel to play the Los Angeles Dodgers tomorrow night. Right-hander Dane Dunning will start against LA southpaw James Paxton.
