Rangers Defeat Dodgers In Series Finale

The Rangers knocked off the Dodgers to take their three-game series in Hollywood. Texas defeated Los Angeles 3-1 in the series finale at Dodger Stadium.

Wyatt Langford led the defending champions at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Adolis Garcia finished 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored, while Josh Smith also had two hits.

Michael Lorenzen earned the win and moved to 4-and-3 after tossing one-run ball through seven innings. Kirby Yates recorded his 10th save.

The Rangers have won three of four to sit at 33-and-35. Andy Pages hit his seventh homer of the year on a solo shot in the seventh inning.

Michael Grove was tagged with the loss after letting up two runs through just one inning. The Dodgers have lost three of four to sit at 42-and-28.
