Rob Parker: "The Steelers Will Win A Playoff Game... Aaron Rodgers Is Why!"

Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington react to veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers signing a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, offering sharply different perspectives. Parker sees the move as a smart decision by both Rodgers and the Steelers, predicting it will lead to a successful season and a long-awaited playoff win. Washington, on the other hand, questions the team’s roster decisions and overall readiness, expressing doubt that Rodgers can thrive in a tough division without a strong supporting cast.

Rob Parker:

"He did the right thing. Why cause a distraction by signing before and not going to the OTAs? And guess what — so did the Pittsburgh Steelers. They did the right thing. They looked at what they have quarterback-wise and said, 'Guess what? We’ll take a future Hall of Famer.' I'm looking at this and I'm saying not only will the Steelers win 11 games — the Steelers will finally win a playoff game, and Aaron Rodgers will be the reason why!"

Kelvin Washington:

"I’m OUT... I don’t think Aaron Rodgers is a bad quarterback — Aaron Rodgers is still a serviceable to pretty good quarterback. My issue is what they’ve (Steelers) done to bring in Aaron Rodgers. So you’re in a division where you have to play Lamar Jackson twice, Joe Burrow twice, and then a Cleveland team that should be on the rise. They got rid of their best receiver, they bring in DK Metcalf — who’s been struggling with drops. They lose their running back, and the defense… the defense ain’t been defending like it’s supposed to. To me, when you bring up Tom Brady and Peyton Manning — they walked into perfect, tailor-made situations, where they had receivers galore and top-notch defenses!"
