Spurs Grab McDermott, Collins

The Spurs remain focused on improving their shooting this upcoming season. The Athletic reports the Spurs expect to sign forward Doug McDermott to a three-year deal worth $42 million dollars. McDermott is a seven-year veteran who shot almost 39% from three last season with the Indiana Pacers. The Spurs are also planning to sign big man Zach Collins, who played for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2020 before an ankle injury that kept him sidelined all of last season.
