A TV producer for KDKA TV in Pittsburgh has been fired after his poor choice of graphic was used during the stations coverage of the Super Bowl festivities. The station was covering the Patriots send off pep-rally, during which Tom Brady led Pats fans in a "we're still here" chant. The producer's graphic choice for Tom Brady was intended to be a wink to Steelers fans, but it ended up costing him his job. Underneath Tom Brady the description read "Known Cheater" referring to deflate-gate. Although Micahel Telek, 27, meant it only as a joke the station responded by saying the jab did not align with KDKA TV's news standards and went against their objective to provide responsible unbiased reporting.
