Head of the Spring League Brian Woods joined TBL this morning to talk about the start of another season. The Spring League is about to begin their 3rd season. To some this may come as a surprise as it was just announced that the Alliance of American Football (AAF) will suspend all operations. The Spring League, which plays 4 games every season using NFL rules is more financially stable than the AAF because the players actually pay to play in the league. That's right, players pay to play. The price starts at $2,000 for the registration fee. The idea is that players will get looks from NFL teams who may in turn bring them into camps. Players who have at one point or another been involved with the NFL are given priority when it comes to making a Spring League Roster. Check out the interview with Mr. Woods and keep an eye out this season for future NFL stars.
